Inge de Bruijn: Only comeback with chance of winning (radio)
Today, Inge de Bruijn 37th birthday and so it was time for Humberto Tan for her to call during his broadcast on Radio-538. Of course there were the congratulations first, but soon Humberto asked the question everyone wants the answer to: are you going to make a comeback?
Provisional Inge could not yet respond positively, but where a few weeks ago a number of people have been dismissed as nonsense is that in any case not so. She thinks about it and indeed with particular regard to the question: can I still win. Inge describes himself as a real athlete and wants of course always win. Whether in the pool, or play Monopoly with her cousin when they lose they are fed up of. Of course she knows that if she would come back there is a chance that they lose, especially with the competition in the Netherlands is already on 'her' songs (and 50/100vlinder 50vrij). But if she is convinced about the fact that they still can win the chance of losing not stop her.
When asked whether she has put a deadline on when they make the decision she replied in the negative and if it does happen it will certainly be another 9 months before we have her back at the highest level at work, much time do they need to have to get back into shape. That would be just in time for qualifying for the World Championships in Shanghai ...
