Only a few hundredths is sometimes the difference between sadness and joy. In the final of the 50m backstroke at the NK Sprint Kersten won in January with God, but he missed just 24.59 with the limit for the Short Course Championships. A few minor adjustments were made after January 1 more chance, as the start of the 4x50m medley relay swimmer of the Columbian. And the adjustments worked, because he knew exactly 24.54 to meet the limits. But the most striking hundredths were Femke Remmits . In the heats of the 50m butterfly she swam to 28.85 (30.26 registration time!) And remained 10 cents above the Dutch Junior Record of Chantal Groot from 1996. In the semifinals she managed to continue to improve to 28.79, but still just removed from Chantal 28.75. Fortunately for Femke her enough time for the finale and it succeeded it. With 28.71 it is the proprietor of the new Dutch Junior Record.
