Esmee Vermeulen
On the 3rd day of the NJK in Heerenveen were few real surprises to report. In the morning session there were only 4 distances which the swimmer / star with the fastest entry time not hold the title, in the afternoon session there were 3. Most notable achievement was of course the Dutch Junior Record for Esmee Vermeulen . After her super fast 50vrij on Friday was of course somewhat expected on the 100m and 57.23 suggested Esmee not disappoint. By that time she improved NJK Manon Masseurs from 1987 (!). Manon then swam to the NJK in Emmen to the old top time of 57.44. The only other record of Day 3, in the name of Esmee Forest . They improved the 400vrij in girls 3 the junior championship record with her winning 05.04.09. That record was until today in the hands of Hinkelien Schreuder in 1998 had come to 05/06/07.
