This means that if a country wants to delegate to the World Cup swimmers, the swimmer must have at least met the B-limit time. If a country is also a 2nd swimmer at the same distance to start, then both swimmers to have fulfilled the A time limit. Now the time limit that applies KNZB for the World Championships in Shanghai yet known, but it is expected that this will be at least as fast as the A time limit, so the above rule is no longer relevant for the Dutch swimmers.

  1. I also believe the KNZB the A limits persists. They do this at the Olympics.
If these times KNZB persists, there are many opportunities for the Dutch swimmers.

  2. Can we better as the series skip. In 2000, the OS is a semi-final place 100 freestyle 49.83, that's half a sec. above the A-limit, so there will be about 24 to get the man in the world. What do you think of this?

  3. Additional note: the 800 is easier to get than the 400 and 1500 Job ;) !

  4. Limits (at the Olympic numbers) are exactly equal to the limits for Beijing http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zwemmen_op_de_Olympische_Zomerspelen_2008/kwalificatie . Limits for the women seem to be within reach than the men.
