Daniel van der Deen impresses during first session NJK
During the first session of the Dutch Junior Short Course Championships impressed Daniel van der Deen in the 200m backstroke. With 7 swimmers between 2.15.4 and 2.18.0 seemed to be an exciting fight, but from the start it was Daniel who immediately took the lead and not ceded. After intervals of 29.77 - 01.01.82 (32.05) - 1.35.02 (33.20) there was a time of 02.08.09 (33.07) on the clock. Just do not improve the championship record of Sam Schootbrugge from 2008 (02.07.30), but a very nice improvement from his entry time of 2.15.49. Number 2 was Levi Hilbolling (Stadskanaal) in 2.15.11, just before his fellow club Jens Kobesen in 2.15.88.
The first championship record came in the name of Janina Beckers at the 400m freestyle. With 4.51.04 she took 13 seconds off her entry time, and made favorite in the girls 1998 Tessa Vermeulen at more than 3 seconds behind (4.54.73). Daphne de Wildt (Aqua-Novio'94) also swam under 5 minutes, but was on the last 50m just swum over by Vermeulen and had to settle for bronze in 4.54.88.
On the 400vrij for girls in 1997, there was also a surprise. Lisanne of Avezaath was her 1st place on the registration list of 4.44.14 was not true and only 4th in 4.57.05. Especially in the 2nd 200m she had lots to compromise on the winner of OZ & Lindy PC Nijhuis. Who won the race in 4.42.85, 4.46.03 for Mirl de Boer. Maxima van den Heuvel (Oceanus) picked up the 3 spot on the podium in 4.48.36.
The oldest age of the girls on the 400vrij did not surprise regarding the number 1. Or it must be that Esmee Vermeulen just not her own Dutch record juniors managed to get. With 4.20.31 She stayed above 0.34, but with 13 seconds ahead there was gold. Rosa Veerman finished 2nd in 4.33.74, Anouque Berghuis made a big leap from position 12 to position 2 in a thick personal record of 4.38. 00
A false start by Maurice van der Ploeg meant that he was directly off the 200m backstroke (he was not the only, see below). Max Hermans took the gold in 2.29.57, seven tenths of the fast begun Tons Michael Owen Beck and American Dutchman van Krimpen in 2.32.67.
Also the guys from 1996, a display on AA and for the leader of the ranking Niels Kemperink. Number 2 of the rankings Furer Tim knew only limited benefit, because he took bronze in 2.19.86. Mike van Herk improved strongly to 2.19.42 and silver, but gold signed off for Bjorn Scherbeijn in 2.17.33.
Daniel van der Deen dominated as indicated in the boys 1995, but the oldest age juniors was a lot more exciting. With 3 men below the 2.10 level was good and of those 3 men were Ensger Kotterink yet again the fastest. He won in 08.02.14 for Frank van der Wolff (02/08/90) and William Kees Roos (02/09/53). With his victory put Ensger direct a first step in the standings Speedo, which he for the 4th year in a row (in the 4th age category in a row) for the victory will want to go.
100vlinder junior girls 1
Amber Aardema was by far the fastest with 1.13.89 installed, but that does not mean much to these young girls. The result was Amber therefore despite her personal best of 1.13.24 back on place 3. Kim Busch (MNC Dordrecht) has improved from 1.17.51 to 1.12.22 and was 2nd, Carmen of Rijt (ZC Valkenburg) did so with an improvement of 1.18.71 to 1.11.78 just a little better and won gold.
100vlinder junior girls 2
Maaike van Veen was only 0.02 at the finish line on Lisanne of Avezaath. Lisanne returned just over half a second behind Maaike after 50 and knew almost have to make. The time for Maaike 1.10.17, 1.10.19 for Lisanne. Anne van Blitterswijk took the bronze in 1.10.64, while Marre Zandringa with 1.10.89 next to the stage ended.
100vlinder junior girls 3
Also, this race can be described with the same sense: only 0.02 was Maaike de Waard on. Her opponent Adaiah Stoetman came to 05/01/40, 01/05/38 Maaike was just a bit faster. Femke Remmits (One Team Swimming) completed the podium with her 7/1/15.
50vrij junior boys 1
He was the only one who had reached the limit and had no doubt who was fastest. Owen van Krimpen convincingly won the 50m freestyle in 27.09, and 28.81 for Jeroen Voltman in Max Ceuninck of Capelle in 29.03. For Maurice van der Ploeg, the grapes sour because he was 4th on .... just 0.02 seconds from the bronze.
50vrij junior boys 2
Kyle Stolk , reaching for the KNZB, won the boys in 1996, the 50m freestyle in 25.66, for Twan Boat (25.96) and Laurent Bams (26.17).
50vrij 3 junior boys
Again the Daniel van der Deen show at 24.49. Unfortunately for him a championship record that state since last year in the name of Jelle Derksen with 24.22, but very well for Mart Theunissen (25.71) and Jens Kobesen (25.85). John Smit and Ruben Tol, the numbers 2 and 3 of the start list were both AA after their name, to leave early or moved at the start.
50vrij boys junior 4
Last year he won in 24.22, now he "only" to 24.65. But by that time knew Jelle Derksen still to grab the victory for Marciano Lynch (24.92) and Mike ter Horst (25.07). The championship record of Mark Costeris remained well out of range (23.97). Niels van Basten Batenburg had to leave early at the start.
50m freestyle S1-S14
Like the NK seniors are also at this NK swim programs for the disabled. On the 50vrij appeared 4 participants at the start and all 4 they knew their personal best to improve. Udo Weerink went from 31.57 to 30.72, Simon Farmer from 34.94 to 33.82, Joren den Boer from 38.57 to 36.22 and from 42.17 to 41.09 Eddy Neggers
Junior girls 4x200m freestyle 3
However, a championship record but no improvement in their own Junior record. The girls of WZ & PC Purmerend knew the old record of 09.01.25 with PSV in 2007 (09/05/65) thick but did not improve at the time they were able to put down in November. Not surprisingly, not because in November were the ladies started in a familiar LZR Racers. WVZ ended with a 2nd 9.12.26, about 10 seconds for the team from Starfish-catfish that bronze handles. The team of DAW Finenzo 1, enrolled in 3rd with 9.14.22 was disqualified for an early acquisition of the 2nd swimmer, the number 4 of the start list One Team Swimming was immediately seen by a false start.
