Inge Dekker and Hinkelien Schreuder on the 50m butterfly in a unique care. In the past, the gold in an international tournament divided by 2 or more swimmers, but best of our knowledge is never done by two swimmers from one country. With Inge and 25.00 tapping Hinkelien exactly the same so they both received a gold medal. Hinkelien was just before the race (there was only one ceremony between) even though the semi-finals of the 100m medley swimming. In the second semi-final she came to a winning 59.12, enough for the second time overall. Winner of the 200m medley yesterday Evelyn Verraszto set the fastest time of 58.61, but was still so close to one second away from the world of Hinkelien. She swam at the World Cup in Berlin to 57.74.
