Satisfied or silenced?
In the past 3 weeks we here at zwemsite.nl received about 650 visitors, which is almost 3000 pages viewed, including nearly 200 times the forum. And yet in that last 3 weeks no visitor found it necessary to leave a message on the forum or even a topic to open it.
Of course, the number of visitors go much further to take, by word of mouth, by adding links to other sites and through promotional activities, but it amazes us that of the 650 visits no one apparently has something to discuss.
And perhaps the fact that you require registration for comments on the forum also keeps people from giving their opinion? Since registration is really a question of a name and email address below, we believe it is now not really a problem to do that.
Bang for moderation then? Our principle is: your opinion is YOUR opinion! Of course there are limits to what an opinion is to place and what is really unacceptable, but we certainly believe in freedom of expression, so there is not likely intervene. And if you do sign with an email address which you regularly read, then we're sure to email us if we feel that a discussion be wrong.
In the past, the forum zwemkroniek.com THE place to read about what's playing in swimming Netherlands and we can not imagine that such a forum is no longer interesting. So you dare to speak out and let us all together again discuss what's even better!
